Carpene Malvolti “L’Arte Spumantistica” Kerner Brut NV
Kerner is a grape variety with a recent history. It results from a hybrid between Rhenish Riesling and Schiava, and was created by A. Herold in the experimental station of Weinsberg / Württemberg in Germany in 1929. It has been grown in Italy only recently and it has founded its ideal grown in the dolomitic zone. Carpenè Malvolti has submitted it to the sparkling process for the first time. Complex nose of freesia and jasmine, followed by fruity notes of peach and citrus. Slight undertone of mint. Excellent mineral notes with solid acidity. Round, full fruit with mellow structure.

Ca’ Rugate San Michele Soave Classico 2010
Light straw gold in color. A fine bouquet of meadow flowers, with hints of chamomile, elderflower and iris. An elegant wine with notes of sweet almonds on the finish. Bright, generous and straight forward, Soave Classico San Michele makes a perfect pairing partner to white asparagus or spring peas. The wine delivers pretty aromas of honey, peach and grapefruit.

Ca’ Rugate Campo Lavei Valpolicella Superiore 2009
Ca’ Rugate established by the Tessari family in 1986, takes its name from the volcanic hills where most of the vineyards are to be found.Deep ruby red in color. Intense aromas of black fruit and cherries, and a twist of spice from the wood, followed by a mellow rounded palate with elegant tannin balance.

Ca del Monte Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2007
CA DEL MONTE is the name of a location that hooks over the village of Negrar, North of Verona, in the heart of Valpolicella, The winery, today directed with lots of enthusiasm by the young brothers Umberto and Giuseppe Zanconte, has been property of the Zanconte family for generations. Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara aged in oak barrels.:Brilliant ruby red color with intriguingly complex with aromas of wild berries jam, spices and licorice root. On th palate wild cherries, berries, almondy finish. Soft, smooth and inviting.

Tenuta Santome Raboso Piave DOC, Veneto, Italy

In Venetian slang “raboso” is referred to a person pist off ‘Leave him alone… he is “raboso” / rabid’. That tells you a lot about this wine that can become an important wine and that can age fairly well. An elegant, spicy scent of nutmeg and pepper, followed by dry hay and leather, with hints of cherry and marasca cherry preserve all supported by a good acidity and mild tannins. The bouquet is complete with delicate mint and eucalyptus notes. Full and rich with a soft and dry final taste.
