Wine Dinner this Saturday at Luce!

When you think of Venice, you think of gondolas, canals, Byzantine architecture, and San Mark’s Square, the most beautiful piazza in all of Europe according to Napoleon.

What a lot of people don’t know is that Venice and the Veneto are also among Italy’s leading producers of fine wines.

At the peak of the Venetian empire in the eighteenth century, the “Most Serene Republic of Venice” stretched from the Venetian lagoon to the gates of Milan to the west.

As early as Roman times, the wines of the Venetian republic — the Veneto as it is called today — were among the world’s most famous.

We are thrilled to announced the Luce’s next wine dinner will be devoted to these truly unique bottlings…
