Carciofi Gratinati (Stuffed Artichokes au Gratin)

Roman-style artichoke hearts that have been stuffed with grated Parmigiano Reggiano and bread crumbs and then baked au gratin (gratinati). A classic dish of Central Italy but also found along the coastline of Campania from Naples to Amalfi.
