Pasta con le Sarde, a Sicilian classic

Salt-cured sardines, caramelized fennel, pine nuts, and raisins… classic ingredients of Sicilian cuisine combined to create Pasta con Le Sarde: long noodles (usually spaghetti) tossed in this unique combination of sea- and landfood.

Owner and executive chef Joe Buonincontri created this standby of classic Sicilian cuisine especially for a customer who pined for “pasta con le sarde the way mamma used to make it!”
